Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments.

• Develop precise diagnoses and create personalized treatment plans suited to each developmental phase.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches and medication management techniques for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

• Cultivate a collaborative, family-oriented treatment atmosphere.

• Inform families about mental health topics and engage them in the care planning process.

• Conduct virtual psychiatric consultations and ensure consistent communication with patients and their families.

• Participate in team discussions and collaborative care strategies.

• Offer consultative assistance to fellow team members.

• Keep precise and timely records of assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

• Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and enhance the quality of care.

• Adhere to regulatory and quality standards.

• Deliver evidence-based treatment through live 60-minute video intake sessions and ongoing follow-up appointments.

• Manage medications and refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist holding an active license in at least one state.

• Experience with telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.).

• Proven skills in family engagement and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Knowledge of JCAHO guidelines and the ability to practice within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
