Psychiatrist – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through a 60-minute intake session and regular follow-up meetings.

• Perform mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and ongoing medication treatments.

• Develop patient-centered treatment strategies.

• Keep detailed records of treatment recommendations.

• Communicate with patients through messaging.

• Prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications.

• Deliver evidence-based medication treatment in accordance with clinical best practice guidelines, including measurement-based and patient-centered care.

• Offer culturally sensitive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying needs and abilities.

• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services to complement psychiatric care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certified MD or DO specializing in psychiatry.

• Unrestricted state license in Pennsylvania.

• Strong preference for clinicians holding an active DEA license.

• Must have office space available to see clients.

• Capability to provide care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels.

• Preference for providers who can offer in-person services.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
