Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Telepsychiatry, PT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +23 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess, diagnose, prescribe, and oversee treatment for Spark patients exclusively through Televideo.

• Primarily address adolescent and adult ADD/ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorders.

• Conduct fully scheduled telepsychiatry sessions.

• Prescribe medications as indicated by patient conditions.

• Deliver patient care without non-clinical responsibilities, supported by virtual administrative and clinical staff.

• Work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend or on-call duties.

• Utilize computer equipment and telemedicine resources provided by Spark.

• Engage in remote telepsychiatry services indefinitely unless impacted by regulatory changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience as an independent PMHNP is preferred.

• Certification to treat both Adults and Children is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Previous credentialing with BCBS, AETNA, UNITED HEALTH & CIGNA is preferred but not required.

• Must have adequate insurance coverage.

• Hold applicable PMHNP Board Certification(s).

• At least one active NP State license from an eligible state is required.

• Applicable DEA registration for controlled substance prescribing is required.

• Some familiarity with an EMR System is beneficial.

• Proficient in managing medications for psychiatric conditions.

• A strong desire to work remotely via Telemedicine.

• Ability to work independently with support from provided assistants.
