Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Telepsychiatry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +23 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess, diagnose, prescribe, and manage treatment for Spark patients exclusively through Televideo.

• Focus mainly on treating adolescents and adults with ADD/ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorders.

• Manage a full schedule of patient appointments.

• Prescribe medications as indicated by patient conditions.

• Deliver psychiatric services through telehealth platforms.

• Collaborate with virtual administrative and clinical assistants who handle non-clinical tasks.

• Provide patient care without the need for emergency services, severe mental illness treatment, on-call responsibilities, or other non-clinical duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience as an independent PMHNP is preferred.

• Certification to treat both Adults and Children is preferred but not mandatory.

• Previous credentialing with BCBS, AETNA, UNITED HEALTH & CIGNA is preferred but not essential.

• Must have adequate insurance coverage.

• Possess relevant PMHNP Board Certification(s).

• One or more active NP State license(s) from an eligible state is required.

• Applicable DEA registration for controlled substances prescribing is mandatory.

• An eagerness to work from home via Telemedicine is essential.

• Some experience with an EMR System is preferred.

• Proficient in managing medications for psychiatric conditions.

• Ability to work independently while receiving support from provided assistants.
