Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform remote psychiatry evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-up consultations for 30 minutes.

• Prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal laws.

• Incorporate brief psychotherapy when clinically suitable.

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership for assistance, escalation, and ongoing education.

• Work alongside therapists and other providers through integrated care plans and team consultations.

• Utilize data-driven tools and measurement-based care to customize treatment and enhance outcomes.

• Develop a caseload and provide outstanding mental health care.

• Assist in refining workflows and care protocols.

• Contribute to the development of the psychiatry program, services, and systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Licensed to practice as a PMHNP in New York.

• Hold an active DEA license in New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience delivering mental health services as a PMHNP.

• Experience in providing remote telepsychiatry services.

• Willing to pursue additional state licenses.

• Available to begin in September 2026.
