Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial assessments with clients

• Collaboratively create treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both

• Proactively follow up with clients on a monthly basis to evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions

• Provide continuous care until treatment objectives are met

• Offer integrated medication and therapy sessions

• Deliver various forms of talk therapy

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Indiana

• Establish a personal work schedule within operating hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

• Collaborate with advanced practice nurses and the wider support team

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

• Valid Indiana Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health

• Strong skills in assessment

• Excellent abilities in communication and documentation

• Driven, client-focused work ethic

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry appointments

• Indiana Nurse Practitioner License is mandatory

• Indiana DEA Certification is required

• Weekend availability is essential

• Capability to provide various forms of talk therapy

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week
