Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments of clients

• Collaboratively create treatment strategies with clients that may include medication, therapy, or both

• Maintain proactive monthly follow-ups with clients to evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions

• Deliver continuous care until treatment objectives are met

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Indiana

• Offer integrated medication and therapy sessions, along with various forms of talk therapy

• Establish a personalized schedule within operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

• Collaborate effectively with advanced practice nurses and the wider expert team


⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree

• Valid Indiana Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification is necessary

• At least 2 years of experience in adult mental health

• Strong skills in assessment

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• A driven, client-focused work ethic

• Possession of a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment to conduct tele-psychiatry sessions

• Indiana Nurse Practitioner License is required

• ANCC Board Certification is mandatory

• Indiana DEA Certification is essential

• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week

• Comfortable with offering various modalities of talk therapy

• Availability on Mondays through Fridays as well as weekends
