Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments

• Collaboratively create treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or both

• Consistently follow up with clients at least once a month

• Evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions and provide continuous care until treatment objectives are met

• Offer a variety of talk therapy modalities

• Conduct tele-psychiatric appointments for clients located in Illinois

• Establish a personal schedule within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

• Current Illinois Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification

• Active Illinois DEA registration

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health

• Strong assessment capabilities

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Motivated, client-focused work ethic

• Must possess a personal computer

• Must have a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week

• Comfortable offering different types of talk therapy

• Available Monday through Friday, with weekend availability
