Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments with clients

• Collaboratively create treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or both

• Offer a variety of talk therapy modalities

• Regularly follow up with clients at least once a month

• Evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions and ongoing care

• Provide care until treatment objectives are met

• Conduct tele-psychiatric sessions for clients residing in Illinois

• Develop a schedule within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

• Current Illinois Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification

• Active Illinois DEA registration

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health

• Strong skills in assessment

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Ambitious and client-focused work ethic

• Personal computer required

• Must have a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry appointments

• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week

• Must be comfortable delivering various types of talk therapy

• Illinois Nurse Practitioner License (Required)

• ANCC Board Certification (Required)

• Illinois DEA Certification (Required)
