Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth, Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform initial and ongoing telehealth assessments.

• Deliver care for mental health and substance use disorders.

• Prescribe medications when appropriate and address member inquiries.

• Ensure timely documentation within the Healthie EHR system.

• Work collaboratively with the care team and engage in regular team meetings.

• Offer evidence-based treatment in a completely virtual setting.

• Evaluate and manage intricate mental health issues.

• Prescribe Suboxone for Opioid Use Disorder; other controlled substances are not dispensed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted PMHNP license in Ohio (Medicaid enrollment is advantageous).

• Active license in your state of residence if it differs from Ohio.

• At least 2 years of experience (preferably in addiction or mental health; strong candidates with less experience may be considered).

• Experience with prescribing Suboxone and possessing an active DEA registration.

• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses.

• Strong empathy towards individuals encountering behavioral health difficulties.

• Proficiency in using technology, including EHRs and mobile apps.
