Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, NJ License – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, formulate treatment plans, and manage medications.

• Provide services to children, adolescents, and young adults aged 2–26.

• Establish meaningful connections with patients and their families.

• Recognize the needs of patients and families, fostering treatment engagement.

• Inform patients and families about various care options.

• Offer compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care.

• Collaborate with psychotherapists, specialists, clinical leaders, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and neuropsychology experts.

• Engage in an integrated whole-child care approach.

• Fulfill the clinical direct-care or patient-care hour commitment for the chosen employment track.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid New Jersey PMHNP/CRNP/APN license.

• Current DEA registration.

• State Prescriptive Authority.

• Board Certification by ANCC or AANP (PMHNP-BC).

• Master’s Degree from an accredited nursing program.

• Over 1 year of independent psychiatric experience under licensure.

• Direct experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults.

• Availability after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or weekends.

• Access to a computer, phone, and high-speed internet.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and Google Suite.

• Capability to meet the required clinical hours for the chosen employment track.
