Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, MD License – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage medications for children, adolescents, and young adults aged 2 to 26.

• Foster relationships with patients and their families.

• Identify patient needs and promote engagement in their treatment process.

• Inform patients and families about available care options.

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based treatment.

• Collaborate with psychotherapists, specialists, clinical leaders, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and neuropsychologists.

• Operate within a comprehensive whole-child care framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an active Maryland PMHNP/CRNP/APN license.

• Possess an active DEA registration.

• Have State Prescriptive Authority.

• Board Certified by ANCC or AANP (PMHNP-BC).

• Obtain a Master’s Degree from an accredited nursing program.

• Have at least 1 year of independent psychiatric experience while licensed.

• Direct experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults.

• Availability after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or weekends.

• Be tech-savvy with access to a computer, phone, and high-speed internet.

• Proficient in EHR systems and Google Suite.
