This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assess and provide treatment for mental health and emotional disorders.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to patients.
• Prescribe and oversee medications as necessary.
• Keep comprehensive records of patient visits and their progress.
• Help in creating personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Work together with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
• Inform patients and their families about mental health and emotional conditions.
• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives.
• At least 12 months of experience in a psychiatric clinical environment after obtaining licensure.
• Master's degree in Nursing specializing in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Board Certification from ANCC or AANP.
• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (specific to clinic location).
• Active DEA registration in the state of practice (specific to clinic location).
• Understanding of mental health and emotional disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to function effectively as part of a team.
• Proven experience with electronic health record systems for managing patient data, documenting clinical details, and accessing patient histories.
• Familiarity with NextGen is highly preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
• Ability to swiftly adjust to new technologies and resolve common technical issues.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous, but not mandatory.
• W-2 position with medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first of the month following employment.
