Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough online psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents aged 5–18+

• Create and oversee personalized treatment plans, which include medication management

• Deliver continuous psychiatric care through a secure telehealth platform

• Collaborate with supervising psychiatrists on intricate cases and care escalations

• Work alongside therapists and care coordinators to provide integrated, wraparound support

• Engage and inform parents/caregivers throughout the treatment journey

• Ensure timely and compliant clinical documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Current PMHNP certification and licensure in Texas (licensure in additional states is a plus)

• At least 2 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry

• Excellent clinical judgment combined with a warm, collaborative communication style

• Proficient and comfortable with virtual care delivery

• Enthusiasm for working with families and a systems-informed approach

• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week

• Contract (1099) position

• Must be U.S.-based

• Required to have a collaborating physician or possess full practice authority in the relevant state

• DEA license is mandatory
