This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership, vision, and direction for the psychiatric service line.

• Supervise assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

• Develop and execute treatment protocols, policies, and procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians, APRNs, therapists, nurses, and counselors to create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy services when necessary.

• Offer clinical supervision, mentorship, and guidance to psychiatric staff.

• Engage in recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations of psychiatric personnel.

• Remain informed about advancements in addiction medicine, psychiatric research, and new treatment modalities.

• Partner with community organizations, treatment providers, and regulatory bodies to enhance awareness and education regarding addiction and mental health issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice.

• Board certification in psychiatry.

• Board certification in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine (preferred).

• Documented experience in addiction medicine and psychiatric care, ideally in a leadership or supervisory capacity (preferred).

• Comprehensive understanding of evidence-based practices, treatment modalities, and medications used for mental and substance use disorders (preferred).

• Strong leadership and management capabilities (preferred).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (preferred).

• Proven commitment to providing compassionate care and advocating for patients (preferred).

• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards governing addiction medicine and psychiatric services (preferred).
