This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia, +1 more country.
• Oversee, lead, and coordinate teams and on-site leaders at Eurofins Professional Scientific Services.
• Implement new scopes of scientific services for clients.
• Manage project implementation through to steady state and monitor ongoing excellence in service delivery.
• Organise and lead teams to enhance productivity, quality, documentation, scheduling, safety, and cleanliness.
• Ensure adherence to ethical and quality standards.
• Establish and communicate client turnaround times, ensuring they are consistently achieved.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with clients.
• Set up communication channels and engagement protocols between clients and team members.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Key Account Managers to identify and seize opportunities.
• Develop, coach, motivate, and retain team members.
• Mentor on-site leadership.
• Monitor staff morale, development, stability, and attrition rates.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and Eurofins colleagues.
• Ensure efficient production and review of operational documentation.
• Evaluate and enhance commercial practices and operational efficiencies.
• Plan activities and optimise both internal and client resources during training sessions.
• Schedule work and communicate schedules to relevant personnel.
• Drive and oversee recruitment efforts for new team members.
• Facilitate cross-training initiatives.
• Ensure the PSS entity meets its financial budgetary goals.
• Generate monthly invoicing details for the Finance department.
• Ensure team training is conducted and training records are completed.
• Make certain performance appraisals are carried out.
• Provide ongoing feedback regarding client and organizational requirements or changes.
• Address and resolve client-related inquiries.
• Supervise cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the team at the client site.
• Identify and implement continuous quality and service improvements.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant technical experience.
• At least 5 years of senior leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• A minimum of 3 years of prior management experience.
• Solid foundational knowledge of processes in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
• Comprehensive understanding of the requirements for operating in a regulated environment.
• Ability to swiftly learn new processes.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Capacity to work independently and devise solutions to problems collaboratively.
• Willingness to work flexibly and adjust priorities on short notice.
• Organised, precise, and proficient in documentation skills.
• Strong commitment to quality and client service.
• Effective internal and external communication abilities.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Slovenian.
