This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
β’ Serve as the intermediary between providers and patients to facilitate ongoing patient care.
β’ Provide results related to pathology and laboratory analyses.
β’ Fulfill requests for medical records.
β’ Handle requests for prescription refills.
β’ Manage prior authorization requests for medications.
β’ Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned and as requirements change.
β’ Improve healthcare provider efficiency by offering administrative and patient support services through virtual technology.
β’ Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate information, scheduling, and assistance while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ Healthcare-specific training is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Must be friendly, polite, and maintain a professional demeanor.
β’ Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Show empathy and a caring attitude towards patients.
β’ Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
β’ Ability to work independently is essential.
β’ Must maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with US HIPAA laws and other relevant regulations.
β’ A reliable high-speed internet connection is necessary.
β’ A quiet, private, and dedicated workspace at home is required.
β’ Candidate must pass an internet speed test.
β’ A wired internet connection is mandatory; Wi-Fi is not acceptable.
β’ Must reside in Alabama.
