This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +4 more states.
• Create efficient and dependable design packages for medium- and high-voltage substations while collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Lead or assist in document control tasks, including management of ProjectWise, handling drawing requests, preparing and setting up drawings, as well as managing submittals and transmittals.
• Convert engineering sketches and annotations into well-documented schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and three-line diagrams.
• Coordinate design efforts to adhere to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Support site visits, station walkdowns, proposals, and project meetings as necessary.
• Conduct design activities in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and AtkinsRéalis policies and procedures.
• Facilitate design coordination with members of multi-discipline project teams.
• Review field construction marks and incorporate them into as-built drawing packages.
• Ensure comprehensive engineering and project documentation, including design packages, as-built requirements, and return data information.
• Foster positive working relationships with engineering disciplines, Drafting, Project Management, and other internal support teams.
• A drafting diploma from a recognized technical institute or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience specializing in substation design for Intermediate positions.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience specializing in substation design for Senior positions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience with ProjectWise document management software is essential.
• Familiarity with MicroStation is considered an asset.
• Previous experience in utility or utility consulting is advantageous.
• Strong focus on client satisfaction.

• Proficient command of the English language, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
