Property Field Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations and assessments of daily property claims for clients in accordance with both client and company directives.

• Manage assigned claims efficiently and promptly with minimal supervision.

• Evaluate damaged property and identify claim-related damages.

• Make decisions within the authority granted under company policies and procedures.

• Utilize knowledge of insurance coverage and claims practices to resolve claims in line with company and carrier standards.

• Establish and communicate appropriate reserves as per carrier guidelines.

• Stay informed about current insurance policies, carrier guidelines, local repair practices, and market pricing.

• Provide severe incident reports, insured-to-value reports, and additional information to claims management when necessary.

• Deliver prompt, accurate, fair, and professional claims service, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.

• Precisely document eligible working hours, including travel time and time spent on-site.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• A valid adjuster license for the states where claims are processed is required, where applicable.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and capability to travel to insured locations.

• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in property claims adjusting is required.

• Experience in preparing estimates using Symbility is required; Xactimate experience is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, theories, practices, and claims-handling procedures.

• A general understanding of construction concepts and principles is highly preferred.

• Physical capability to climb ladders, access attics and crawlspaces, inspect roofs, kneel, bend, and perform other tasks necessary for property inspections.

• Must fulfill continuing education requirements necessary to maintain relevant adjuster licenses.

• Strong skills in investigation, analysis, and problem-solving.

• Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.

• Ability to adhere to specific client guidelines regarding service timelines, documentation, and estimate preparation.
