
Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Travel to clients' residences to perform on-site property assessments
• Investigate coverage options and assess damage
• Generate estimates and efficiently resolve claims
• Manage virtual claims nationwide using platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration
• Deliver outstanding service to policyholders throughout the claims process
• Analyze policies to ascertain coverage
• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing
• Provide customers with preferred communication options and updates on claim progress
• Assess and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants
• Utilize estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to settle claims
• Accurately and promptly document claim activities in the claims system
• Participate in approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas
• Residency in the specified location is required
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an outside adjuster is strongly preferred
• Previous experience in construction estimating or as an outside adjuster is highly desired
• Proficient in Xactimate and other relevant estimating software
• Strong critical thinking and technical capabilities for accurate damage assessment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel to customers' homes and manage virtual claims across the country
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Capable of carrying a 50-pound ladder and accessing roofs with a 6/12 pitch on one to two-story buildings
• A valid driver's license and readiness to travel
• A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
• This position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico
• Must undergo a background investigation
• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this role
• An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be necessary within 60 days of hire, if applicable
