
Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Visit customers' residences to perform on-site property evaluations.
• Assess coverage and examine property damages.
• Create estimates and resolve claims efficiently and promptly.
• Manage virtual claims nationwide utilizing platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.
• Specialize in water-loss claims.
• Deliver empathetic, clear, and customer-centered claims assistance.
• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Provide customers with their communication preferences and keep them informed about claim updates.
• Assess and negotiate settlements with clients, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Implement legal and business-standard practices during claims negotiations.
• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms in a dynamic environment.
• Apply policies in accordance with policy agreements.
• Maintain accurate claims-system records and ensure timely documentation.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred.
• Experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred.
• Proficient in using Xactimate and other relevant estimating software.
• Strong critical thinking and technical abilities to accurately assess damages and expedite claim resolutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to customers' homes and manage virtual claims across the country.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Residency in the specified location is mandatory.
• Capability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with a 6/12 pitch on one- to two-story buildings.
• Valid driver's license and readiness to travel.
• Must undergo a background check.
• Office/area may require the acquisition of an adjuster and/or appraiser license; if applicable, the necessary license(s) must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• This position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this role.
