Project Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and guide the risk management process, which includes identifying risks, assessing them, and proactively managing both threats and opportunities.

• Maintain risk data that is up-to-date and in accordance with ISO 31000:2018 industry best practices.

• Involve project teams in understanding risk management requirements and foster a culture centered around risk management.

• Create risk management plans, keep risk registers updated, and generate risk reports and analyses to aid management in decision-making.

• Streamline and enhance the efficiency of risk management processes, tools, and templates through automation.

• Lead risk workshops involving project teams, partners, and clients.

• Incorporate quantitative risk analysis into project cost and scheduling.

• Assist management in interpreting the results of quantitative risk analysis to facilitate decision-making.

• Ensure a consistent approach and promote knowledge sharing across various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with large and complex engineering-oriented projects, such as major infrastructure, rail, highways, oil & gas, or nuclear sectors.

• Previous experience in consultancy settings.

• Proficiency in Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA).

• Expertise in tools such as @Risk, Safran, ARM, or Xactium.

• Comprehensive background in project management, statistics, economics, business management, engineering, or data analytics.

• Capability and enthusiasm for in-depth analysis of complex analytical issues.

• Qualifications equivalent to PMI-RMP.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.

• Willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally, approximately 30% of the time.

• Proficient in written and spoken English communication skills.

• Knowledge of German is a plus.
