Project Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the risk management process by leading efforts in identifying, assessing, and proactively managing both threats and opportunities.

• Maintain risk data in accordance with ISO 31000:2018 industry best practices.

• Collaborate with project teams to engage them in risk management requirements and foster a culture centered around risk management.

• Create risk management plans and oversee the maintenance of risk registers.

• Generate risk reports and analyses that aid in management decision-making.

• Streamline and enhance the efficiency of risk management processes, tools, and templates through automation.

• Conduct risk workshops involving project teams, partners, and clients.

• Incorporate Quantitative Risk Analysis to evaluate project cost and schedule.

• Assist management in interpreting QRA results to inform decision-making.

• Ensure a consistent approach and promote knowledge sharing across various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with large and complex engineering-focused projects, including major infrastructure, rail, highways, oil & gas, and nuclear sectors.

• Previous experience in consultancy settings.

• Proficiency in Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA).

• Expertise in industry tools such as @risk, Safran, ARM, and Xactium.

• A broad and diverse background in Project Management, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, Engineering, or Data Analytics.

• Capability and interest in delving into complex analytical issues.

• Qualifications equivalent to PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional).

• Advanced skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally, approximately 30% of the time.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of German is an advantage.
