Project Manager, Study Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Engage in bid defense presentations alongside the Business Development team.

• Facilitate presentations for smaller, less complex regional studies when relevant.

• Execute and oversee smaller, less complex regional studies as needed.

• Create integrated study management plans in collaboration with the core project team.

• Implement clinical studies in alignment with contracts, SOPs, policies, and procedures while enhancing speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

• Establish objectives for core project teams and sub-teams; communicate and evaluate performance.

• Work together with internal functional groups to meet milestones and address study-related issues.

• Track progress in relation to contracts and provide project updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Actively manage risks, contingencies, and problem-solving efforts.

• Recognize quality risks and deploy corrective and preventative action plans.

• Act as the primary or backup contact for customers and nurture key customer relationships.

• Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring comprehensive project delivery.

• Guarantee financial success of projects and pinpoint opportunities for revenue acceleration.

• Recognize changes in scope and handle the change control process.

• Document lessons learned and apply best practices.

• Oversee vendor management activities when designated.

• Support corporate initiatives and serve as an advocate for change.

• Provide feedback on the performance of project team members.

• Guide less experienced project team members and assist in their professional growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of previous clinical research experience, including approximately 5 years of project management experience in a global, client-facing setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.

• Proficient presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work through others to achieve results that meet quality and timeline standards.

• Experience in performance monitoring/management and providing constructive feedback.

• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and with customers.

• Competence in decision-making and utilizing diverse information to drive outcomes.
