Project Manager – SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the daily operations of the VA Project Management team.

• Create project plans, timelines, deadlines, and milestones.

• Validate all stages of risk assessment.

• Participate in work groups, meetings, and technical discussions.

• Organize and visualize team activities.

• Enhance network monitoring and detection capabilities through SIP monitoring, log analysis, automated remediation, and improvements in network resiliency.

• Elevate organizational awareness and readiness for network modifications through effective communication and technical training.

• Document meeting notes, themes, action items, and subsequent steps.

• Engage with GovCIO and VA management to clarify needs and requirements.

• Review security plans, risk assessments, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Conduct weekly, monthly, and ad hoc meetings.

• Coordinate cloud platform delivery, release readiness, and end-to-end processing.

• Supervise routine maintenance of network security devices and applications.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

• Establish processes and procedures to enhance team functionality and communication.

• Enforce VA NOC, intra-team policies, and performance benchmarks.

• Delegate responsibilities and monitor task and project progress.

• Formulate OKR and KPI strategies along with compliance dashboards.

• Map and enhance ITSM workflows for ServiceNow deployment.

• Ensure that action items and milestones are recorded and achieved as scheduled.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with over 12 years of experience.

• Must successfully pass and maintain a Tier 4 (BI) Government Background Investigation.

• Familiarity with Project Management methodologies and techniques.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Teams, Word, and Excel.
