Project Manager – Specialized Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Define the scope and objectives of projects in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and senior management.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of the projects.

• Develop comprehensive work plans and organize project activities in sequence.

• Implement projects according to the established project plan.

• Create documentation forms and records to capture project activities.

• Organize and safeguard project information effectively.

• Monitor the progress of projects and modify plans as necessary.

• Establish communication schedules with stakeholders and provide updates on progress.

• Engage with funders in accordance with funding agreements.

• Oversee and approve budgeted expenditures for projects.

• Prioritize and thoroughly document project requirements.

• Deliver solutions on time through effective collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal production teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in Banking/FinTech or Insurance sectors.

• Demonstrated experience in managing projects within Risk, Regulatory, and Compliance frameworks.

• Strong background in Delivery Management.

• Experience collaborating with various stakeholders across business and technology domains.

• In-depth knowledge of project governance, risk management, issue management, and dependencies.

• Experience within regulated financial services environments is essential.

• A Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Recognized Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or an equivalent certification.

• Excellent planning, coordination, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments is a plus.

• Legal right to work in South Africa without requiring employer sponsorship.
