Project Manager, Road Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and executing projects within the road infrastructure sector

• Tracking costs, timelines, and quality standards

• Guaranteeing adherence to all pertinent standards and regulations

• Coordinating project teams effectively

• Engaging with both internal and external partners, including engineering firms, regulatory authorities, and suppliers

• Recording and reporting on project advancements to stakeholders and clients

• Providing guidance to clients on organizational, strategic, and technical issues related to project execution

• Assisting in the continuous improvement of processes and technologies in road infrastructure and development

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar qualification

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management and delivery of infrastructure projects

• Preferably, experience with significant road or rail infrastructure

• Comprehensive understanding of the applicable Austrian standards, codes, and regulations for road and motorway infrastructure projects, especially RVS, BVergG, and ÖNORM standards

• Proficient in project management software

• Strong analytical, abstract thinking, communication, and organizational skills

• Confident in interactions with stakeholders and partners

• Excellent written and spoken German

• Willingness to travel as project demands
