Project Manager – Privacy & Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple concurrent implementation projects involving OneTrust, Privacy Tools, and Securiti, along with ongoing privacy services—typically managing 4 to 8 active workstreams.

• Collaborate with Delivery leadership to prioritize and balance technical team assignments across projects.

• Initiate sold projects through internal kickoffs, encompassing scope, effort, timelines, and commercial terms.

• Develop comprehensive project plans that include schedules, milestones, risks, and clearly defined roles and responsibilities.

• Facilitate external client kickoffs to validate the project plan and establish governance.

• Maintain updated schedules, risk registers, and action plans throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitor hours utilized against sold hours while anticipating variations in effort and scope.

• Coordinate weekly client status meetings, internal checkpoints, and steering committee sessions.

• Manage scope modifications through formal documentation and necessary approvals.

• Act as the primary point of contact for client management, engaging with client managers and executives.

• Prepare executive status reports that outline progress, risks, next steps, and outstanding decisions.

• Lead discussions on replanning and negotiate timelines when necessary.

• Contribute templates, lessons learned, and ongoing improvements to enhance the project management methodology.

• Assist the sales team by providing effort estimates for new project proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of robust experience in managing technology projects for external clients within a consulting firm, systems integrator, software development organization, or technology vendor.

• Demonstrated capability in managing multiple simultaneous projects with complete end-to-end responsibility, including planning, execution, effort management, and project closure.

• Proficiency in tracking project hours and effort, with a focus on delivery profitability.

• A degree, postgraduate qualification, or MBA in project management, or relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.

• Experience in leading kickoffs, steering committees, and navigating challenging discussions with clients.

• Exceptional organizational skills, documentation practices, and follow-up discipline, including meeting minutes, action plans, and accountability tracking.

• Preferred: background in privacy, data protection (LGPD/GDPR), GRC, or information security.

• Experience with implementing B2B SaaS platforms, preferably OneTrust, Privacy Tools, Securiti, or similar solutions.

• Additional certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM, ITIL, or CIPM are a plus.

• Experience in managing fixed-scope projects alongside recurring services.

• Proficiency in English or Spanish for accounts with international operations.

• Ability to independently resolve issues with the team and propose effective solutions.

• Tact and decisiveness in safeguarding project scope and timelines.
