Project Manager, MEP / Building Services Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of technical projects related to smoke and heat extraction (SHE), ventilation, and building services engineering, overseeing them from handover to acceptance.

• Ensure accountability for project quality, budget, timelines, and documentation.

• Collaborate and coordinate effectively with clients, planners, construction managers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Supervise client-supplied work to guarantee adherence to the agreed-upon quality standards.

• Perform inspections on-site, at facilities, and during acceptance phases.

• Work in close partnership with field sales, service managers, and service technicians.

• Detect project deviations early and proactively manage the project's progression.

• Recognize opportunities for optimization and actively enhance existing processes and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in project management, construction management, or the coordination of technical projects, preferably in construction, electrical engineering, or building services.

• Familiarity with smoke and heat extraction systems (SHE), ventilation technologies, fire protection, or building automation is beneficial but not essential.

• Confident in handling complex project structures and engaging with a variety of project stakeholders.

• Understanding of the German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB).

• A solid commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.

• A structured, independent, and self-sufficient approach to work.

• Excellent communication skills and assertiveness, particularly in construction site environments.

• Willingness to travel within your designated region.

• Ideally possess an electrical engineering qualification, advanced training as a master craftsman or state-certified technician, or experience in smoke extraction and ventilation systems; however, this is not a strict requirement.
