Project Manager, Industrial Auctions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee auction projects across various locations, particularly in Central Germany.

• Assess and catalog machinery, equipment, and other assets at the seller’s site.

• Create technical descriptions, photographic records, and pertinent auction details.

• Organize and prioritize lots in collaboration with the seller.

• Provide necessary information to the Auction Management team.

• Coordinate and manage inspection and collection days.

• Maintain communication with buyers, sellers, and internal teams.

• Manage external service providers for dismantling, loading, dispatch, and other logistical operations.

• Assist with post-sale processes and ensure the seamless transfer of lots to buyers.

• Enhance the quality, presentation, and success of the auctions under your management.

• Work closely with Auction Management, Account Management, Marketing, and other specialized teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training, a degree in a technical discipline, or relevant experience in the machinery or industrial sectors.

• Background as a Project Manager, Service Technician, Site Manager, or in a similar operational role.

• Fundamental understanding of machinery and technical relationships, preferably in metalworking or woodworking.

• Exceptional organizational abilities, a strong sense of ownership, and a structured work approach.

• Professional and confident demeanor when interacting with customers, buyers, and service providers.

• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and capability to work effectively within a team.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.

• Comfortable using digital tools and IT systems.

• Willingness to travel within Germany, especially in Central Germany.

• Readiness to take on-site responsibility and present technical information clearly.
