Project Manager II, PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Oversee strategic projects from their inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable results.

• Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to establish project scope, objectives, and criteria for success.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

• Identify potential risks and dependencies while formulating mitigation strategies.

• Promote cross-functional alignment and effective communication.

• Adhere to Strategic PMO governance frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices.

• Communicate project status, milestones, and obstacles to senior leadership.

• Leverage data-driven insights to enhance project delivery and inform decision-making.

• Champion continuous improvement within the PMO to boost operational efficiency and strategic influence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of project management experience focusing on strategic and enterprise-level initiatives.

• Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects within corporate or higher education settings.

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, Critical Path, and Hybrid project management methodologies.

• Proficient in using project management tools like Planner, Monday.com, or equivalent solutions.

• Experience in change management, business process enhancement, and organizational transformation projects.

• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

• Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or MBA.

• Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or others are highly desirable.

• Agile certifications like Scrum Master or SAFe are a plus.
