Project Manager – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, setup, management, and execution of various outsourcing projects that involve 2D and technical game assets.

• Monitor project planning, setup, progress, timelines, expenses, and documentation.

• Guarantee timely, high-quality, and valuable deliveries for all projects.

• Maintain effective information and communication flow throughout the duration of projects.

• Assist in scheduling and planning for artists.

• Track the deliverables and responsibilities of artists.

• Provide support to artists and clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Develop and sustain strong, trustworthy, long-term relationships with clients.

• Implement and enhance processes, methods, workflows, tool utilization, and pipelines.

• Manage and balance resources across projects.

• Identify potential risks and devise successful solutions to mitigate them.

• Contribute to the maintenance of the team's quality of work.

• Collaborate closely with Envar’s Outsourcing art team and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing outsourcing projects that produce 3D and technical game assets.

• Comprehensive understanding of the 2D game art pipeline and workflow.

• Proficient in Photoshop.

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience managing 2D game art projects.

• Capability to independently understand and meet expectations.

• High level of accuracy in documentation and task management.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficient in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets.

• Experience in writing routines and guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Favro or Miro is a plus.

• Experience in training or mentoring is advantageous.

• An art-related degree or diploma is a plus.

• Proficiency in Mandarin, French, or Korean is a plus.
