
Project Manager – Engagement and Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Oversee project plans for engagement initiatives, leadership meetings, advisory councils, and support networks.
• Coordinate engagement activities alongside field leaders, business partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Drive support and escalation processes to address inquiries and enhance the associate experience.
• Facilitate discussions for feedback to identify obstacles, readiness issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create agendas, facilitator guides, talking points, surveys, and follow-up materials for engagement events.
• Collect and analyze feedback from the field, best practices, and emerging trends to guide business decisions.
• Monitor milestones, action items, risks, and follow-up tasks across various projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, Communications, and Product teams to ensure alignment in messaging and readiness activities.
• Evaluate engagement effectiveness through participation trends, feedback insights, and adoption metrics.
• Document lessons learned and suggest enhancements for future engagement initiatives.
• Connect corporate initiatives with teams in tax offices.
• Lead engagement activities that support the implementation of business priorities and foster two-way dialogue with field leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience through education and related work.
• At least 3 years of experience in project or program management, communications planning, or similar fields.
• Capability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
• Ability to lead in a matrix organization and remotely (virtually).
• Proficient in collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Proven decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in presenting complex information to various organizational levels effectively.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and product planning tools.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Proven track record of setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Preferred: experience in a consulting setting.
• Preferred: understanding of compliance, regulatory, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and governance issues.
• Preferred: PMP certification or equivalent, or progress toward obtaining PMP certification or equivalent.
• Preferred: some background in tax or finance.
