Project Manager, Energy & Industrials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain a deep understanding of investable topics, themes, and trends within designated industry sectors.

• Initiate research projects following the guidance of Sector Leads, the demand of the ETL platform, industry insights, and research findings.

• Establish project angles and formulate expert vetting inquiries.

• Evaluate and ensure the quality of expert profiles sourced by Analysts, providing constructive feedback.

• Conduct regular team meetings to assess project status and progress towards objectives.

• Oversee scheduling, compliance, expert compensation, and the number of calls.

• Manage workload distribution among the team and assign projects according to Analyst capacity.

• Direct project scope and Analyst sourcing through sector knowledge.

• Integrate feedback from Client Contributors into project initiatives and Analyst training.

• Mentor Analysts on their project assignments.

• Hold discussions with Directors of Research, Sector Leads, and Client Contributors about sector trends and client research priorities.

• Collaborate with Contributor Relations Managers to align expert profiles with call takers.

• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new Analysts.

• Preserve sector knowledge resources for Analyst onboarding and sourcing.

• Make research-driven decisions utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data.

• Have experience or the ability to utilize AlphaSense and Tableau.

• Hold a foundational understanding of one or more covered industry verticals, preferably.

• Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

• Be self-motivated with a proactive history of achieving results.

• Capability to enhance efficiency and scale the work of Analysts.

• Possess coaching and feedback abilities.

• Foster empathetic collaboration across various functions.

• Demonstrate the ability to grasp investable topics, themes, trends, sector dynamics, and client research interests.
