Project Manager – Early Development Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.

• Ensure that both internal and external escalation procedures are adhered to.

• Outline responsibilities and communication channels for secondary project leads as needed.

• Responsible for the overall delivery of cross-functional projects within the constraints of time, cost, and quality.

• Exhibit financial stewardship by comprehending contracts, aligning resources with budgets, managing out-of-scope activities, facilitating change modification processes and negotiations, and adhering to timelines.

• Set, communicate, and manage customer expectations for effective project delivery.

• Propel project-level risk identification and issue resolution through RBQM/RESOLVE.

• Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve or surpass deliverables.

• Ensure project teams comply with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements.

• Work in office/laboratory and/or clinical settings, with potential exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, and electrical office equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Over 8 years of comparable experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role.

• Experience in Phase I projects.

• Proficient in technical systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.

• Capability to delegate and prioritize both personal and project team members' workloads in a dynamic environment.

• Strong oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills.

• Proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable to shifting priorities and circumstances.

• Advanced knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Solid understanding of project management principles concerning time, quality, and cost, including financial literacy.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Strong judgment, decision-making capabilities, critical thinking, and strategic analytical skills.

• Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence others, along with cross-cultural awareness.

• Adherence to organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements.

• Capability to work in an office/laboratory and/or clinical setting.

• Proficiency in using required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, and gloves.
