Project Manager, Digital Radiography Implementations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of digital radiography and X-ray systems at client locations.

• Travel across the United States for system implementations and to support DR sales at customer sites.

• Engage in pre-sales activities, including conducting site and risk assessments.

• Manage the entire implementation process from order review to site preparation, delivery, installation, calibration, training, and go-live.

• Utilize expertise in X-ray suite design, patient workflow, sales consulting, construction management, installation planning, and turnkey management.

• Track construction progress and coordinate electrical, mechanical, and structural tasks.

• Resolve site-readiness challenges.

• Collaborate with hospital facilities, general contractors, architects, sales, service, manufacturing, and applications teams.

• Oversee schedules, risks, and multiple simultaneous projects.

• Facilitate revenue recognition through prompt and high-quality installations.

• Take ownership of project delivery milestones, schedules, and overall execution.

• Manage projects ranging from outpatient clinics to large multi-room implementations in teaching institutions.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Construction Project Management.

• At least 7 years of proven project management experience, ideally in the medical device and healthcare sector.

• Clinical background in radiography/medical imaging.

• Comprehensive knowledge of digital radiographic X-ray systems, PACS, networking, and clinical workflows.

• Capability to collaborate with contractors, facilities teams, and internal Carestream resources.

• Ability to effectively communicate site requirements to all trades involved.

• Proficient in reading blueprints; knowledge of CAD is a plus.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and handling competing priorities.

• Strong customer-facing skills and expertise in issue resolution.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

• Experience in turnkey development, management, and implementation is preferred.

• Disciplined in forecasting, funnel management, and time management.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, approximately 60–80% of the time.
