Project Manager – Data Center, Construction & Commissioning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the execution and delivery process for data center and commercial projects from the moment they are awarded through to commissioning and closeout.

• Oversee schedules, resources, logistics, budgets, milestones, and commitments to customers.

• Proactively identify and address issues as they arise.

• Lead daily project operations, including internal and customer meetings, site calls, and field coordination.

• Coordinate efforts between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Field Services.

• Cultivate relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and commissioning teams.

• Manage budgets, forecasting, documentation, reporting, risk mitigation, and change management processes.

• Assist with proposals, bid development, and tracking of project pipelines.

• Identify forthcoming projects and strategic market opportunities.

• Promote continuous improvement, cost savings, enhancements in execution processes, customer satisfaction, and successful project deliveries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in leading projects, operations, supply chain, logistics, commercial operations, or customer-facing business roles.

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in industrial services, construction, infrastructure, or similar settings.

• Strong skills in leadership, communication, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.

• Proven capability to drive outcomes through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, site visits, project reviews, and commissioning assistance.
