Gear Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the switchgear project team to guarantee the project's success for both the client and Colonial.

• Act as the primary customer-facing representative following order confirmation.

• Manage all project activities and timelines efficiently.

• Analyze and interpret switchgear specifications and plans.

• Solicit pricing and lead times from manufacturers and sales representatives.

• Create timely and detailed switchgear proposals.

• Accurately estimate project costs to enhance sales and profitability.

• Follow up with customers regarding quotes.

• Review existing blueprints and offer value-added services.

• Assess submittal approvals and revise quotes accordingly.

• Examine drawing bulletins and addendums for switchgear modifications and update quotes.

• Enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships.

• Collaborate with Sales and management on customer status, history, changes, potential, quotations, and strategies.

• Input data and communicate effectively with customers and vendors.

• Work alongside the Project Management team throughout the project lifecycle.

• Keep up-to-date with new product information and emerging technologies.

• Enter product details and shipping information into Jobtrack.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Fundamental knowledge of Gear, Lighting, Electrical, and/or Construction Project Processing is essential for this role.

• Proficient computing skills and knowledge to perform required job tasks.

• Ability to comprehend technical product specifications and drawings.

• Understanding of project accounting principles and maintenance.

• Attention to detail and capability to accurately match and organize information.

• Strong communication skills and commitment to continuous follow-up.

• Leadership qualities.

• High level of accountability.

• Coordination of all project aspects.
