Project Manager, Construction, Renewable Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary leader for projects in the capacity of an independent power producer (IPP), coordinating all stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

• Supervise the construction phase, guaranteeing adherence to company goals and compliance with contractual requirements.

• Direct internal and external work interfaces, including partners, contractors, global equipment suppliers, service providers, owner’s engineers, legal teams, development teams, local and ministerial authorities, and financial institutions.

• Monitor and uphold project schedules, budgets, and cash flow, while identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Evaluate key milestones, assess risks and contractual exposures, develop risk mitigation strategies, and create proactive solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of prior experience in construction project management is essential; 15 years is preferable.

• A Bachelor’s degree in electrical, civil, mechanical engineering, or another relevant discipline is required.

• High proficiency in all Office applications, particularly Excel, is mandatory.

• Fluency in both Romanian and English is essential.

• Must be located in Romania.

• Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is required.

• Experience in an Owner/Developer role is a significant advantage.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Strong self-management abilities, along with effective task prioritization and the capacity to manage multiple interfaces simultaneously.

• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are required.
