Project Manager – Capital, TI Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Leasing, Property Management, and/or Asset Management teams to create space plans, implementation schedules, and budgets.

• Engage in the selection and onboarding process for architects, engineers, due diligence consultants, and contractors.

• Draft, negotiate, and facilitate contracts with consultants and contractors.

• Involve yourself in the design process, from test-fit/schematic design to the completion of construction documentation.

• Oversee daily operations and provide comprehensive management of national Capital Expenditure and Tenant Improvement construction projects.

• Attend Owner / Contractor / Architect meetings in person or via conference call.

• Track and frequently update project budgets and timelines.

• Supervise representative projects and ensure the project team adheres to contracts and meets client expectations.

• Coordinate the monthly draw process in collaboration with the Accounting and Property Operations teams.

• Assist in establishing best practices and protocols utilizing software and industry tools.

• Cultivate and sustain client relationships.

• Report directly to the EVP | Capital and Tenant Improvement Projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in real estate project management.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage.

• Background in Tenant Improvement design and project management.

• Proven experience in managing design consultants and contractors.

• Strong grasp of the monthly project draw and vendor payment application process.

• Proficiency in standard Real Estate transactional documents (Leases, Contracts, Lien waivers, etc.).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint.
