This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of contact and a trusted advisor for designated retail clients on a daily basis.
• Offer expert advice on visual design direction, materials, substrates, fixture finishes, signage systems, and environmental graphics.
• Convert design concepts, construction documents, and brand standards into specifications ready for production.
• Facilitate design reviews and collaborative meetings with clients.
• Create project scopes and plans that encompass requirements, schedules, budgets, timelines, and success criteria.
• Track and report on project progress, obstacles, and potential risks.
• Input project plans and team member assignments into project management tools.
• Spot opportunities for new materials, formats, and design methodologies.
• Collaborate with the in-house design team to kickstart design concepts.
• Spearhead value-engineering initiatives aimed at reducing costs without compromising brand integrity.
• Transform client briefs and renovation objectives into design concepts and production-ready solutions alongside Studio, Engineering, and Sourcing teams.
• Create and present décor proposals for store renovation projects.
• Supervise estimates, budgets, approvals, and modifications in scope.
• Monitor milestones and relay progress, risks, and alterations to stakeholders.
• Oversee client feedback and the revision process.
• Assist in concept development, pitch materials, mockups, and design presentations.
• Aid in installation planning, considering site restrictions, phasing, and remodel timelines.
• Conduct post-installation evaluations and manage punch-list and closeout tasks.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements, efficiencies, and value-engineering.
• No direct reports.
• 3-5 years of experience in account management, project management, or client services within retail settings, environmental graphics, commercial interiors, print production, or branded décor.
• 2+ years of experience in a position that involves client interaction, design review, or brand QA responsibilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Certification from an accredited body in Project Management, such as PMP from PMI, is preferred.
• Strong preference for experience with national retail brands or multi-location rollouts.
• Familiarity with print production techniques and specifications, including large-format, signage, fixtures, and dimensional elements.
• Capability to manage complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, simultaneous deliverables, and tight deadlines.
• Experience with project management and production platforms like Iquote, Monarch, Monday.com, Smartsheet, REVit, CAD, or similar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong executive presentation capabilities.
• Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level.
• Strong client communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in translating creative design intent and brand standards into production-ready specifications.
• Working knowledge of value engineering principles applied to retail design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar, with sufficient skills to review and QA design outputs.
• Skills in team building, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to change effectively.
