Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee the successful execution of projects that promote customer adoption of Google Cloud services.

• Collaborate with Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Anthos, and AI/Machine Learning capabilities.

• Interact with executives from large enterprises and coordinate with cross-functional, geographically dispersed Google teams.

• Collect requirements and define the scope of engagements.

• Plan and implement service offerings to expedite customers' cloud adoption journeys.

• Leverage relationship management, leadership abilities, and technical expertise to guide teams.

• Actively identify and mitigate risks while resolving issues.

• Propel projects forward when necessary.

• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

• Integrate within customer teams to offer strategic guidance, facilitate technology decisions, and collaboratively execute projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Customer-facing experience engaging with executive stakeholders.

• Proven experience in driving, managing, or executing IT technical implementations, transformation programs, or similar initiatives.

• Background in supporting enterprise customers within Cloud Professional Services, relevant IT consulting, or program management organizations.

• Proven track record of mentoring and/or instructing others in process, organization, change, and/or learning improvement methodologies.

• Capability to develop and manage measurement systems that track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.

• Skilled in identifying resistance and performance gaps, and formulating and implementing corrective actions.

• Experience in incorporating change management activities into comprehensive project plans.

• Self-motivated individual adept at establishing order in ambiguous situations.

• Strong logical and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Methodical approach to project management for enterprise-level initiatives.

• Comfortable appearing on video during internal and client meetings.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent practical experience (preferred).

• Experience in value consulting, proposal development, and execution with public cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred).

• Extensive experience with Google Cloud.
