Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the contract between TOMRA and its clients, ensuring timely, quality delivery while meeting cost and customer satisfaction objectives.

• Supervise project workflows, documentation, reporting, and schedules.

• Create project plans, outline resource needs, and lead project teams effectively.

• Manage contract scope, variations, project advancements, and communication with stakeholders.

• Keep customers informed about plans, progress, and timelines while managing their expectations.

• Track milestones and guarantee that tasks are completed and documented throughout the project lifecycle.

• Consult with experts to mitigate compliance risks and engage third parties as necessary.

• Oversee cash flow and financial targets.

• Document lessons learned and conduct root cause analyses, implementing corrective measures.

• Facilitate project handovers and ensure compliance documentation is delivered.

• Conduct project evaluations focusing on risks, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Foster a “Safety First” culture within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Over 5 years of project management experience leading complex, customer-facing projects from initiation to completion.

• Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

• Expertise in project planning, risk management, budgeting, and project delivery within relevant industries.

• Strong grasp of compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Capability to work independently, make decisions, and achieve results in remote and dynamic environments.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Commercial awareness coupled with a customer-centric approach.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines, manage uncertainty, and resolve complex issues.

• Ability to work in both open office environments and on industrial customer sites.

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid passport.

• Unrestricted driver's license in the country of residence.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.

• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) are advantageous but not required.
