Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Manage multiple deployment projects simultaneously, handling all phases from kickoff to go-live independently.

• Act as the primary contact for customer accounts, providing regular updates.

• Oversee project administration, documentation, and coordination from start to finish.

• Control project budgets, coordinate resources, and ensure milestones are met.

• Create status reports, dashboards, and project summaries for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Organize site surveys, manage equipment shipping, vendor coordination, and installation scheduling.

• Serve as the initial point of escalation for accounts and projects.

• Resolve routine deployment issues and escalate more complex problems along with their analysis.

• Handle equipment returns and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation across RetailNext platforms.

• Produce accurate project quotes based on established pricing models.

• Complete deployment checklists and update project tracking systems accordingly.

• Achieve PMO KPIs and adhere to PMO SLAs.

• Document lessons learned and propose ideas for process improvements.

• Coordinate with approved installation vendors, review their quotes, and monitor their performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in project management or coordination.

• Strong understanding of deployment processes.

• Familiarity with SmartOps, Google Workspace, and various project management tools.

• Basic knowledge of retail technology, hardware requirements, and vendor management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
