Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership in project management for large and intricate electric substation initiatives.

• Guide projects through both internal and external procedures while navigating the project life cycle.

• Oversee project scope, timeline, and budget.

• Make important decisions regarding the project.

• Manage a collaborative project team to ensure that all functional disciplines align with the planned scope, timeline, and budget.

• Steer the overall project by employing coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation techniques.

• Facilitate project meetings.

• Create, update, and oversee the project plan.

• Coordinate communications and deliver status updates to stakeholders.

• Evaluate project risks and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Handle project requests for information and action items.

• Ensure or secure sufficient resources for the project.

• Establish and sustain effective working relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• Experience in Physical Construction, Utilities, and Electric project management is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience is necessary.

• PMP Certification is preferred.

• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines by effectively setting priorities.

• Capability to produce clear and concise status updates and reports.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

• Skilled in problem analysis, identifying alternative solutions, evaluating project impacts, and implementing recommendations that support project scope, schedule, and budget objectives.

• Exceptional leadership, verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Consistently delivers outcomes that meet objectives, maintains high work standards, and possesses a strong understanding of the business environment and processes.
