Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple drug discovery initiatives simultaneously, effectively managing priorities across various programs.

• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and trackers utilizing Smartsheet.

• Collaborate with scientific and cross-functional teams to establish program objectives, deliverables, and milestones.

• Facilitate regular program team meetings, including agenda preparation, decision documentation, and follow-up on action items.

• Monitor progress against milestones while proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and possible delays.

• Work alongside teams to formulate mitigation strategies and drive issues toward resolution.

• Deliver clear and frequent status updates and reports to program teams and stakeholders.

• Ensure precise project documentation is maintained and that information remains current and easily accessible to the team.

• Liaise with external partners and vendors as necessary to support program timelines.

• Contribute to enhancing project management tools, templates, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in chemistry, biology, pharmacology, or a related life science, with a strong scientific foundation in drug discovery.

• Previous hands-on bench or research experience prior to transitioning into project management is preferred.

• Over 5 years of project management experience in biotech, pharmaceutical drug development, or a related field.

• More than 3 years of experience managing small molecule discovery programs from hit-to-lead through lead optimization and candidate nomination.

• Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.

• Familiarity with targeted protein degradation, including molecular glues, degraders, or PROTACs, is a significant advantage.

• Proficient in Smartsheet.

• Preference for candidates with small molecule experience.

• Experience coordinating CROs for in vivo studies is preferred.

• Self-motivated and hands-on approach.

• Must be available to work remotely during Pacific Time hours.
