Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact and lead for daily program operations.

• Establish and nurture relationships with the client’s Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), technical Points of Contact (POC), subject matter experts, and stakeholders.

• Oversee and manage the program’s milestone delivery schedule.

• Monitor progress, deliverables, and contractual obligations.

• Administer the Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract structure, including deliverables, milestones, payments, invoicing, and program documentation.

• Plan and supervise subcontractor performance.

• Organize nationwide site visits, secure site access approvals, handle travel arrangements, staffing, equipment logistics, and multi-site scheduling.

• Direct program risk management and resolve issues as they arise.

• Suggest mitigation strategies for risks related to schedule, resources, scope, weather, site access, and operations.

• Facilitate regular internal and client-facing status meetings.

• Provide reports on schedule, cost, risk, staffing, and deliverable status.

• Ensure the handling of client data complies with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).

• At least 7 years of project management experience, including a minimum of 2 years managing federal government IT contracts.

• Proven experience with managing Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contracts that utilize CLIN-based, deliverable- and milestone-driven payment structures.

• Experience overseeing subcontractors, including scheduling, performance management, quality assurance, and cost tracking.

• Background in coordinating multi-site field operations and staff travel logistics across a large, dispersed geographic area.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in developing and maintaining Quality Control Plans, milestone delivery schedules, and program status reports.

• Working familiarity with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling protocols.

• Willingness to travel occasionally (minimal) for program kickoff, client meetings, or site coordination activities as necessary.

• PMP certification or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• Previous experience supporting a federal agency with mission-critical infrastructure, radar, or spectrum programs is preferred.

• Knowledge of radar systems, telecommunications, spectrum management, or geospatial and survey services is preferred.

• Experience coordinating field surveys, RF/spectrum engineers, or similar technical field personnel is preferred.

• Familiarity with GIS/geospatial data platforms, including Open-Source and Esri, is preferred.
