This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Support the progression of projects as Gainwell aids clients in achieving enhanced health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation.
• Oversee one or more large project management teams by deconstructing larger technological programs and aiding in project staffing.
• Direct project planning, monitoring, and management of assigned personnel by setting directions and deadlines.
• Engage with clients, company leadership, and project teams by assessing and communicating project metrics and status updates.
• Suggest program modifications as required.
• Develop project timelines, program specifications, budgets, and objectives for all project phases.
• Manage projects involving non-direct reports by identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Draft comprehensive statements of work and support new proposal initiatives and business development efforts.
• Integrate project management execution, technical expertise, strategic/program-level thinking, customer-facing leadership, governance discipline, and accountability for deliverables.
• 9+ years of experience managing intricate projects, programs, or initiatives through the complete project management life cycle.
• Preferred: 3 or more years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare.
• Proficient technical understanding and project management discipline.
• Ability to think at a program level.
• Leadership skills in customer-facing roles.
• Capable of driving governance and accountability.
• Experience in leading diverse teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring accountability for deliverables.
• Familiarity with budget development, control, and assurance methods.
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to convert broader program objectives into clear project scope and milestones.
• Proficient in training, guiding, and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Strong skills in executive presentations and effective communication.
• Ability to convey project priorities and inspire both direct and indirect networks and stakeholders.
• Required to use video cameras during all interviews and the first week of orientation.
