This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of intricate automation projects from initiation through to commissioning and completion, ensuring a safe, timely, and budget-conscious delivery while providing an outstanding customer experience.

• Guide cross-disciplinary teams across engineering, controls, procurement, installation, commissioning, finance, and field operations.

• Develop and manage project timelines using Microsoft Project, overseeing scope, critical path, resources, and key milestones.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers by maintaining proactive communication, transparency, and effective problem-solving.

• Establish project requirements, synchronize expectations, and convert technical information into implementable plans.

• Recognize project risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and implement solutions.

• Manage project financial health, which includes budgets, forecasting, cash flow, change orders, and billing performance.

• Coordinate resources across the organization while promoting collaboration and accountability.

• Balance customer expectations with team priorities, safety, quality, and business objectives throughout the project lifecycle.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of Project Management experience in material handling, automation, industrial sectors, manufacturing, construction, or a similar field.

• Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional projects from the planning stage through to completion.

• Demonstrated capability in managing projects valued at around $30M or more.

• Experience in coordinating teams of 10 to 15 or more contributors.

• Strong financial insight and experience in managing project budgets, forecasting, cash flow, and overall project performance.

• PMP certification or a commitment to obtain it within six months of joining DCS.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.

• Proficient in communicating effectively with customers, executives, field teams, and technical stakeholders.

• Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
