This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee, +1 more state.
• Lead and manage all project activities starting from the award of the contract until final acceptance by the client.
• Ensure that execution adheres to design specifications, best construction practices, budget limits, and scheduled commitments.
• Take part in preconstruction activities, including estimation, constructability analysis, and support for buyouts.
• Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve project challenges.
• Promote safety standards, ensuring OSHA compliance, hazard identification, mitigation planning, and continuous safety improvements.
• Work with the Quality team to confirm that project specifications, inspections, and corrective measures are effectively addressed.
• Keep detailed cost reports, forecasts, financial projections, and project budgets up to date.
• Oversee labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment, and changes in project scope.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, notifications, and closeout documents.
• Assist with financial reporting by providing insights into trends, risks, and variances.
• Create, update, and track project schedules.
• Identify critical path tasks and develop recovery strategies as needed.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis.
• Foster relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop the project team.
• Contribute to succession planning and nurturing the next generation of project leaders.
• Recognize project risks and implement mitigation strategies across safety, quality, schedule, commercial, and technical aspects.
• Report significant risks to senior management.
• Provide clear reporting on project progress, risks, financial status, and key milestones.
• Organize and lead both internal and external project meetings.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of EPC construction methodologies, renewable energy technologies, and utility-scale solar projects.
• Familiarity with construction safety regulations, OSHA standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply IFC drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with project management software such as P6 and MS Project.
• Proficiency in financial reporting systems.
• High degree of initiative, ownership, and adaptability.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in utility-scale solar or large-scale renewable energy projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, renewable energy, or a related field is preferred.
• PMP Certification is preferred.
• OSHA 10-hour safety certification is preferred.
• First Aid/CPR Certification is preferred.
• Compliance with the interview policy, which prohibits AI note-takers, recording devices, and real-time transcription software, is required.
